Bread Pudding

Bread Pudding
Eat warm or cold

Ingredients

  • Loaf of bread preferably a couple of days old.
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 4 oz sugar
  • 6ish ozs sultanas
  • Currants
  • Raisins
  • Mixed spice to suit
  • Tblspoon or so of oil to grease roasting tin

METHOD

  • Take a loaf of bread with the crusts removed, soaked in water for a few minutes in a colander in a bowl.

  • Remove the colander from the bowl,squeeze the water gently out of the bread.

  • Add all the other ingredients and mix well.

  • Add to the heated roasting tin and place in the oven for one and a half hours approximately at 200c.

  • Check the top is quite firm but not burnt.
